This week the undefeated McLean High boys' tennis team, under head coach Aavo Tomkov, had a challenging slate of competition versus Liberty District opponents. The Highlanders (8-0), earlier in the week on Tuesday, April 24, were scheduled to travel to cross-town and Liberty District rival Langley High (7-1).

The Centreville High varsity baseball team will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Washington, D.C. chapter of Operation Homefront during its home game on Tuesday, May 8 against Concorde District rival Oakton.
Westfield High to Host Spring Jubilee
State tournaments set to be held in baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and tennis.
Westfield High will host the upcoming Virginia High School League (VHSL) State AAA Spring Sports Jubilee from Tuesday, June 5 through Saturday, June 9. The Spring Jubilee will determine state AAA champions in baseball, softball, boys' and girls' tennis, soccer, and lacrosse. Westfield High is located at 4700 Stonecroft Blvd. in Chantilly.
Saxons Capture Region Tennis Crown
Langley girls defeat Jefferson Colonials in finals.
The Langley High girls' tennis team defeated Thomas Jefferson High, 5-0, to win the Northern Region title last week.
Langley Girls Tennis Wins State Championship
Saxons defeat Mills Godwin in finals.
The Langley High girls tennis team completed an unbeaten season this past Saturday, June 2 by besting previously undefeated Mills Godwin (Richmond), 5-3, in the Virginia State AAA finals at Huntington Park in Newport News.
Cal Jadacki of McLean Named Atlantic 10 Baseball Co-player of the Week
Saint Joseph University sophomore Cal Jadacki, a Langley High School graduate, was named the Atlantic 10 Baseball Co-Player of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon.
